The hotel itself was extremely comfortable, with a superb breakfast that included the delicious Northumberland Plate. The location was perfect, nestled in a lovely quiet area close to the stunning Northumberland coast. The room was superb, with a great atmosphere and the staff were excellent, always attentive and helpful. I would love to come back and highly recommend it to friends and family.

The location of the hotel was fantastic, situated in a lovely village in beautiful surroundings. The room we stayed in was well-furnished and comfortable, with a big bed and a spacious bathroom. The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided excellent service. The food served at the hotel was tasty and there was a great choice of options available.
Attention to detail was lacking during our stay. We were disappointed to find that there was no dressing table in the room, leaving us with nowhere to put our essential items.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel at ease during my business trip. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. Plus, the room was comfortable and relaxing, allowing me to unwind after a long day of work.
There were a few aspects that disappointed me. The noise outside the room was quite disruptive throughout the night, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The staff were exceptional, welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make our stay a real pleasure. the bedroom was nice and reasonably spacious, with an inventive use of wardrobe space. the bathroom was well equipped, with a good shower and lovely fluffy towels. the food in the restaurant was plentiful, delicious, and piping hot. the local ale was very pleasant too.
The parking lot across the road could do with resurfacing. the room comfort could have been better, as the windows were not in good condition and had trouble staying open.

The Northumberland Arms in West Thirston was a great value for our money. The room was comfortable, clean, and stylish, with a fantastic bathroom. The location in the lovely village gave us a picture postcard experience. We felt valued and welcome throughout our stay.
One suggestion to make the breakfast better would be to offer a wider variety of fruits and cereals, as you would expect from a five-star establishment.
